FDM Printing is one of the most common forms of 3D printing. It uses a nozzle to melt a filament of thermoplastic and essentially just draws the part. It is extremely cost effective and has an excellent material selection. Typically, we can offer a textured finish on most parts, but FDM will always have very small layer lines through the print, particularly with unfilled materials. We can print anything from PLA up to carbon fiber filled Polycarbonate using the FDM process.
SLA Resin printing is by far the most accurate 3D Printing process. SLA Resin prints have the hallmark of smooth walls and sharp corners. We typically use an ABS like or a tough resin, but we also have highly transparent solutions for situations that demand extreme clarity.
SLS 3D Printing is a fantastic solution for production parts. It uses an extremely fine powder that is melted together with a laser to create the part. It is most cost effective in volume, but it has an excellent material selection all the way from TPU or Nylon up to stainless steel, and many more. It has the hallmark of leaving a textured surface finish consistently across the entire part.
Below are the estimate calculators for the 3 types of 3D Printing we offer. Most parts will fit right in between the low and high estimates, but things like complexity and quantity will play a significant role in the final price.
